We Made It Man!!!

You have pretty much made it through the first weekend of the first month of 2019! How does it feel?

She kinda looks like me. Right?

Weekends don't only help you relax from the past week. They also set the tone for the week to come.

And this weekend sets the tone for the year.

I'm a big believer in the power of intention.

I know that it sounds like a bunch of mysticism, flower-child logic and, I'll be the first to admit that the subject is surrounded by intrigue. But that's only to the untrained eye. It's actually just a way for us to understand who we are, what we want and how we can get what we want in the best possible way.

Sounds simple enough, right?

It's as easy as it sound, honestly.

Before January 1st, I gave a lot of thought to the way I wanted my life to flow this year. Last year was so fabulous for me:

~I released my first novel. ~I took my kids on a road trip. ~I went on my first adult vacation, sans kids.

It was lit for me. I left the year feeling like a rock star, only to be hit with the impending doom of another year. This one with a totally blank canvas.

What do I want to do this time? Do more with "The Never List"? And more looks like what exactly? Book fairs, tours, parties, festivals? What more do I want? Am I even capable of more?

Enter the Power of Intention.

And enter this cute, personally designed blog here.

I delved into the recesses of my mind and really started to ask myself what I wanted to do and when I wanted to start doing it. While "The Never List" is a most amazing and entertaining tale and I wrote it, designed it and self-published it all by my big girl self , it's not the end for me. And I don't mean the sequel. I mean, it shows me exactly what I am capable of and it's so much more than I'm doing now.

Yes, I love my job. I love my kids. I love my obligations. I love my friends. But I also love myself and I owe it to myself to be everything that God created me to be. I am open to every blessing that the Universe has for me. I want to learn every lesson that is meant for me to learn. I want to see everything, hear everything and experiencing everything that is meant for me. So, here goes.

My name is Samantha Strahan. I am an author, a blogger and a speaker. My voice will inspire many individuals to find their voice, live their vision and create the realities that they think they can only dream about. You get to decide. You get to choose. It's your life to live.

So that was my weekend. How was yours?

I would love to hear all about it, and listen to your plans for the year as well.

Until next time...
